We love to venture off the beaten path as well! Let's create something truly inspiring together.
Island Infinity spans holes 16 and 17 of Kapalua's Bay Course.
The panoramic format matters because the work is not really about one golf hole.
It is about the transition between designed landscape and the Pacific beside it.
Fairways, coastal edge, water and distant geography extend through one long field, making the relationship between course and place clearer than a tighter photograph could.
At approximately 160 million pixels, the file retains smaller surface information throughout that broad composition.
From a distance, course and coast become long horizontal bands.
Move closer and grass texture, coastal rock, shoreline changes and water detail begin separating from those broader forms.
That combination of breadth and retained information makes Island Infinity one of Lance's Kapalua works most naturally suited to a long wall or architectural-scale installation.
